mother//self MASTERCLASS

A free live mental health masterclass for mothers.

You’ve seen us throw dance parties. This is what we’re building underneath them.

You run a household.
You regulate everyone else’s nervous system.
And somehow… someone is still asking you to make them a sandwich.

We see you.

Mother//Self is a free live masterclass for mothers who want to feel more grounded, resourced, and connected in their bodies, their inner lives, and their sense of self.

Led by Elizabeth Wellington, MA, LPC, PMH-C, perinatal psychotherapist and co-founder of Moms Feelin’ Themselves, this series reflects the heart of MFT philosophy: that when mothers feel more grounded in their bodies, more connected to their inner lives, and more supported in community, mental health shifts naturally follow.

Each masterclass weaves interdisciplinary tools, emotional literacy, and embodied practices into a practical, powerful, and deeply human container, designed not to “fix” mothers, but to help you understand yourself, meet your needs, and move through motherhood with more clarity, agency, and self-trust. You’ll leave feeling more settled in your body, clearer in your mind, less alone, and more yourself.

This is not a lecture, support group or positive thinking seminar.  It’s a space to slow down, feel your feelings, be nurtured and held, and reconnect with yourself and with other mothers who get it.

MEET ELIZABETH

Elizabeth Wellington, MA, LPC, PMH-C is a perinatal psychotherapist, mom of two, and co-founder of Moms Feelin’ Themselves. She specializes in maternal mental health and works with mothers navigating anxiety, identity shifts, emotional overwhelm, and the real, often unspoken realities of modern motherhood.

Elizabeth’s work masterfully blends modern psychoanalysis, neuroscience, somatic and nervous system practices, mindfulness, group psychotherapy, and movement, grounded in the belief that healing doesn’t happen through insight alone, but through embodiment, relationship, and community. With over 15 years of teaching in the embodiment and wellness space, two decades of practice in Buddhist meditation, and more than a decade of clinical counseling experience, she creates spaces and experiences that are transformative without being intimidating, emotionally honest, deeply supportive, and often funny and relatable. She loves evidence-based woo.

Her approach resonates with mothers who want depth without jargon, structure without rigidity, and practices that actually work in real life. Elizabeth helps mothers reconnect with themselves, trust their inner cues, and feel more grounded, empowered, and human in their lives and relationships.
